Daniel Paul

is a Fulbright Award winning tabla drummer, graduate of  the Ali Akbar College of Music  and a singing kirtan tabla virtuoso who for more than two decades has been the principle accompanist to Grammy nominee Jai Uttal as well as to all of today’s top kirtan singers, from the soft prayers of Snatam Kaur, Donna DeLory and Jaya Lakshmi to the rocking chants of Dave Stringer, CC White the Guru Ganesha Band and Krishna Das, Daniel has played with them all, and now often touring with Jai or Gina Salá  Daniel continues to introduce new audiences to Indian kirtan chanting, and the magic of the tabla drums!  He also teaches private tabla lessons at his home on Maui and in workshops offering simple kirtan drumming as well the basic fundamentals of indian music.

Gina Salá

is a singer, composer and chant leader with a repertoire of 23 languages. She began chanting at the age of 3 living in an ashram and deepened her practices wandering the Himalayas, in a buddhist monastery and in ongoing study with her Sanskrit, tantra, and classical singing teachers in India. Gina's engaging personality, voice and wealth of experiences have led her from Himalayan huts to programs at the United Nations, as lead singer for Cirque du Soleil, and beyond. She offers retreats and kirtans internationally, annual "River of Sound" tours in India as well as private sessions in harmonium, Sanskrit mantra, wellness and voice via skype.
